Bring it on, New Year!

Here it is...2012. Will this be your year? Some say that 2012 marks the beginning of the Age of Aquarius (although others say that we've been in this age since the 1400's. Depends who you ask. Don't quote us!)

Aquarius is a water sign. Water is life. Water is also energy, and the key to healing.

So isn't it fitting that this month marks the re-birth of Underground Spring? We went on hiatus at the end of 2011 to really travel inward and think about the purpose and intention in all that we do. And just as the seasons dictate the rise and fall of tides, so has our underground spring of inspiration returned.

SINUS PROBLEMS?

It's certainly that time of year, for those of us unlucky enough to suffer from sinus pain.

Try diffusing peppermint oil in a candle burner. The main constituent of peppermint is menthol, which is often found in sports creams, chest rubs and Halls cough drops. But even just pure peppermint oil diffused in the air around your home is excellent for opening the sinus passages. But be careful. Don't let it touch the inside of your nose! That's gonna burn!
